Method 1: When the gear and rack are engaged, the required clearance thickness of copper foil, such as 0.02mm thick copper foil, is used to give the gear a certain pre-pressure to compress the gear and rack, and then push the gear to turn to the copper foil. The final deep clearance is about 0.02mm

Method 2, the gear and rack are engaged as shown in the figure above. After preloading the gear, the gear swings back and forth slightly. The clearance is shown on the swing table. The clearance is adjusted up and down through the gear

Reminder: When assembling gear and rack, confirm that they are parallel and vertical, and the concentricity should be within the standard range, otherwise it will affect the assembly and use. For the fixing screw hole of the reducer, several strip (5~20mm) holes are used to adjust the clearance between the gear and rack

Inspection instructions for straightness and parallelism of rack assembly:

1. After rack assembly, mark and test the rack back and mounting surface. When marking the table, the straightness and parallelism of the rack with suitable accuracy shall be less than 0.02mm, and the medium accuracy shall be less than or equal to 0.03mm

2, the straightness and parallelism accuracy of mechanism guide rail and rack should be less than 0.02mm, and the accuracy should be less than 0.03mm

3, when the accuracy is suitable for gear and rack assembly, the side clearance is less than 0.02mm, the conventional accuracy is less than 0.06mm, the concentricity is less than 0.02mm, and the general accuracy is less than 0.03mm

4, the working environment is in a good lubricating environment. If the assembly fails to meet the requirements of the above standards, the following consequences will be caused: the accuracy fails to meet the requirements; High noise; It is easy to cause rack wear and reduce service life
